Carlo Santi established his winery way back in 1843 in Italy’s Northeast Veneto, one of the three regions that make up the Tre Venezie, or Three Venices. Today the estate is still devoted to making classic examples of signature wines of the region, and we’ve selected one white and one red for this issue of Behind The Vine. Both staple wines of the Veneto, the Santi Pinot Grigio and Santi Valpolicella “Solane” are sourced from some of the region’s oldest vineyards, hand picked from estate grown fruit.
