With over 125 years and five generations of family winemaking experience, the Angove Family is one of the largest family owned wineries in Australia. In 1886, Dr William Angove emigrated from England with an original intention just to establish a medical practice, however his background in chemistry sparked his interest in winemaking. He began producing brandy and fortified wines for his patients, but as demand exceeded supply and his customer base grew, what started as a hobby quickly became his new venture.
